Cannabis Club Applications Swirl in Saarland

Saarland's stirring several ripples as three budding groups have tossed their hats in the ring for creating pot cultivation cooperatives. Yep, you heard it right! The Ministry of Consumer Protection confirmed the development upon a requisition. According to the current state of play, these applications are undergoing a thorough examination, with no official approval or rejections handed down yet. Consequently, no state-sanctioned cannabis club has set up shop in Saarland as of now.

Since July 1, Saarland has opened its gardens to applications for creating pot cultivation cooperatives. In accordance with the Cannabis Act, adults have been entitled to possess and grow a minimal amount of weed for personal consumption since April 1. In these cooperatives, members can collaborate on cannabis cultivation for personal use and divide the produce among themselves. Home gardeners can maintain a maximum of three plants.

The Cannabis Act endorses adults to possess and cultivate tiny quantities of marijuana for personal use from April 1. Presently, the Ministry of Consumer Protection is considering the approval of the three recently put-forward petitions for the formation of marijuana cultivation cooperatives in Saarland.
