Brace yourself, historic Pirna's city center is about to come alive with a three-day extravaganza! The heartbeat of the action will pulse through the festival mile, manifesting from June 20th to 22nd, 2025.
The main stage nestled in the market square promises an eclectic showcase of entertainment across the festive weekend. Get ready to groove to the rhythm with the electrifying electronic pop duo, Glasperlenspiel from Stockach, rocking the stage on Saturday evening. Sunday afternoon witnesses the Saxon rock legend, Stern-Combo Meißen, casting an enchanting spell over the crowd. Kick off your festival experience with the energetic party band, Jolly Jumper, slaying the stage on Friday evening.
Adding a dash of fun to the market, Friday offers the Solina Cello Ensemble and DJ Mario Eichler, while a mascot parade will march its way from the main stage to the Elbe on Saturday afternoon.
Saunter over to Pirna's Elbwiesen on Saturdays and Sundays, where the Kreissportbund Sächsische Schweiz-Osterzgebirge e.V. will conjure up a festival brimming with family-friendly delights. Expect sports and games attractions, a vibrant funfair, adrenaline-pumping FEP dragon boat cup, the Lions Club Pirna's 8th Birnencup on the Elbe, and club presentations gracing the stage.
Saturday and Sunday, from 10 am to 6 pm, witness the 'Blue Light Mile' parade in Schössergasse. An impressive lineup of participants will make an appearance, including the Bundespolizeiinspektion Berggießhübel, the DLRG "Obere Elbe" e.V., the Pirna Police Directorate, the Psychosoziale Notfallversorgung of the Johanniter-Regionalverband Dresden, the Verkehrswacht Sächsische Schweiz e.V., and DreiMALig, inviting young participants to participate in themed arts and crafts activities.
