Kicking off the series on October 21 is Rea Garvey, who will perform at the Hamburg Schauspielhaus. The following night, on October 22, the artist has yet to be announced. On October 23, Montez is expected to take the stage.
Previously, the Channel-Aid concert series has hosted a variety of main acts, including Rita Ora, Bastille, Cro, and Wincent Weiss. The shows have also featured the 65-member Lufthansa Orchestra and the 40-member Hamburg Voices choir. It is confirmed that Rea Garvey's performance will include the Hamburg Voices choir, and each concert will feature the Lufthansa Orchestra.
Profits from these concerts will be donated to several charitable organisations. Additionally, profits from the live stream will go towards social projects for children and people with disabilities. Advertising revenue generated by clicks during the live stream will also contribute to these causes.
Mastercard has also pledged to donate an amount equal to the tickets purchased using their credit card. Tickets for the concerts will go on sale in the following week.
