The jokes from Hollywood's Golden Girl, Streep, seemed to be a hit with King Charles. The King's Foundation Turns 35
Charles founded the King's Foundation way back in 1990, while he was still rockin' that Prince of Wales title. Over the years, it's gifted annual sustainability awards in various categories. Now based at Dumfries House in Scotland, it's also educating more than 14,000 students each year in traditional crafts, architecture, regenerative agriculture, and urban renewal. David Beckham has been repping the foundation for about a year as their ambassador.
Beckham and the acting legends Streep, Winslet, and Tucci passed out some of the event's awards, marking a big 3-5 for the foundation. BBC reported that Beckham is soon to be knighted, giving him the well-deserved title Sir David Beckham.
