Three assistant principals succumb to gunfire outside a school setting
In a shocking turn of events, a shooting outside Lincoln Middle School in Illinois on Tuesday has left three individuals dead, including the assistant principal, Nerissa Lee.

The community where Nerissa Lee lived is described as family-oriented and supportive. Her neighbours, such as Chris Dotson, are left in shock over the incident. "I can't believe something like this happened here," Chris expressed.
The third person who died in the shooting incident was identified as a 13-year-old boy. The identity of the third victim, who has not yet been released, remains a subject of investigation.
The Cook County Medical Examiner's Office confirmed the death of 54-year-old Steven Lee, who was identified as Nerissa Lee's husband.
