The city streets were engulfed by the dynamic spectacle as they were sealed off, making way for the 5.6-kilometer electrifying city course. The event is the world's largest corporate run, occurring not just in Frankfurt but many other cities like New York and London as well.
According to organizers, over 60,000 daring participants had signed up for this year's challenge, a slight dip from last year's gluttonous 63,000 recreational athletes. Kudos to the boys in blue, who haven't reported any major chaos so far.
