Taking the "Kings" Down: Nationwide Protests Against Donald Trump

Multitudes Gathered for Anti-Trump Rallies - "Thousands Speak Out: Demonstration Against President Trump"

Turn out the crowds! Thousands of pissed-off citizens in the US took to the streets in multiple cities this weekend, led by the "No King" movements - a pissed-off rally against President Donald Trump. Dude, listen up! The capital got stormed by around a thousand protesters on Saturday, that's right, Washington, D.C. was on lockdown! Philadelphia wasn't far behind with several thousand showing up.

Organizers announced that demonstrations were planned in over 1,500 cities, and this isn't their first rodeo: Los Angeles, New York, Houston, Seattle, Atlanta, and Palm Beach were all lined up to have their violent voices heard.

Protesters Cry Foul: Trump's Authoritarian Reign

The organizers said these were the biggest demonstrations since Trump's inauguration, pissed off about "authoritarianism, billionaire-first policies, and the militarization of our democracy."

In L.A., the organizers expected 25,000 people to rally, but with protests about migration escalating into violence recently, the city wasn't taking any chances. Armed Marines were deployed after Trump ordered 700 soldiers, who were originally intended for overseas combat missions, to the city. Trump had sent 4,000 National Guard troops earlier without local authorities' approval, claiming things had gotten out of control in L.A. as they fought his immigration stance.

In the nation's capital, a massive military parade was scheduled for Saturday because, get this, Trump thought it would be a boss idea to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the US Army. But it just so happens that this is Trump's birthday too! Watch out, protesters: he's threatened "very harsh action" against any fools messing with his party.
