Thousands of tickets have already been bought: The specified musical acts will appear at the Summer Breeze festival in 2026.
The countdown to one of the biggest metal events in Germany has begun! The Summer Breeze Open Air 2026 is set to take place from August 12 to 15 at the Aeroclub Dinkelsbühl airport, and ticket sales have already started.
Since its inception, the musical highlight of the festival occurs every year in mid-August, and 2026 promises to be no exception. The event, which is not only the largest metal festival in Franconia but also in all of southern Germany, saw a record-breaking turnout in the anniversary year 2024 and 2025, with both events selling out.
This year, the total ticket quota for the festival is around 45,000. As of August 20, 2025, at 1 PM, over 25,000 tickets for the 2026 festival have been sold, with more than 20,000 tickets sold within a few hours of sales starting. During the Early Bird Pre-Sale Phase, a festival ticket can be purchased for 199.99 euros, while the highest price for a ticket in the top price category is 249.99 euros.
The organizers have announced the first wave of confirmations for the 2026 festival, with 50 bands out of more than 130 planned. Some of the announced acts include Helloween, In Flames, Arch Enemy, Lamb of God, Airbourne, Alestorm, Versengold, The Ghost Inside, Testament, Amorphis, Imminence, Paleface Swiss, Alcest, The Butcher Sisters, Orbit Culture, Kim Dracula, Deicide, Brothers of Metal, Northlane, dArtagnan, Betontod, Terror, Deafheaven, Future Palace, Soen, Der Weg Einer Freiheit, Miracle Of Sound, Mushroomhead, Municipal Waste, Trollfest, Saor, Nanowar of Steel, From Fall To Spring, Unprocessed, Misery Index, Cryptopsy, Brainstorm, Parasite Inc., Excrementory Grindfuckers, Our Promise, Illdisposed, Ten56, 200 Stab Wounds, Groza, Manntra, Haggefugg, Blood Command, Cabal, Mittel Alta, Luna Kills.
The headliner "Helloween" is currently celebrating their 40th anniversary, making their performance at the Summer Breeze Open Air 2026 an exciting event for fans. Despite the heat and storm warning in 2025, the event was a great success, and the organizers addressed the festival visitors and described it as an "exceptional year".
