The horror classic "Resident Evil" was shown in a remake called "Requiem". A Batman game featuring Lego figures ("Lego Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight") was presented, with the fights of the Lego figures appearing comical in the trailer.
The Gamescom trade fair, which was attended by around 5,000 fans during the opening, will continue until Sunday. The actual Gamescom event, which takes place in Cologne, is expected to attract thousands of fans in the coming days. The event was opened with the presentation of several dozen trailers for new video and computer games.
Dorothee Bär (CSU), the federal research minister responsible for the industry, and Hendrik Wüst (CDU), the NRW state premier, are expected as guests at the Gamescom event this year. Amazon Prime was present at the opening show, presenting the second season of the post-apocalyptic action series "Fallout."
As technology advances, the games industry is becoming increasingly visually impressive, with several games showcasing stunning graphics and immersive gameplay. The Gamescom event is a testament to the growing popularity and innovation in the gaming industry.
