The Cordoba Guitar Festival 2025 is set to captivate music lovers from July 1 to 11, transforming various venues in Cordoba, Spain, into a melting pot of diverse guitar music styles. The Grand Theatre, Góngora Theatre, Axerquía Theatre, and even the Plaza de Toros will echo with the strumming of strings as performers take to the stage.

During the core dates of July 7 to 11, the festival presents a mix of acts primarily at the Axerquía and Great Theatre venues. On Tuesday, 8th of July, Yhael May, a singer-songwriter renowned for her interpretation of classical guitar, will perform a concert at the Teatro Góngora at 20:30. Meanwhile, at the Axerquía Theatre, a performance titled "ORIGIN" will take place, though details on performers are not specified.

On the same day, the Australian Guitar Quartet, consisting of four classical guitarists - Andrew Blanch, Vladimir Gorbach, and the Gorbach brothers - will perform at the Teatro Góngora at 20:30. The repertoire of the Australian Guitar Quartet includes both classical pieces and contemporary compositions, such as Pat Metheny's works.

The week climaxes on Saturday, with the main event of the week, Manuel Carrasco's concert, taking place at El Arenal starting at 10:00 PM. Carrasco, who is touring the main cities of the country with his latest album 'Pueblo Salvaje II', has sold out tickets for months for this much-anticipated performance.

For those seeking a more contemporary sound, The Crumbs, a group known for combining various guitar-driven styles, possibly rock or blues, will perform at the Great Theatre of Cordoba on July 10. The festival's diverse offerings are further highlighted by the performance of Blind Guardian, a renowned German power metal band, on July 11 at the Axerquía Theatre.

Throughout the festival, audiences can also enjoy performances by Olga Pericet / Daniel Abreu (July 2), Long Live Sweden (July 3), Dani Fernandez (July 4), and Danielle Nicole Band (July 5). The Brazilian duo Siqueira Lima will perform at the Teatro Góngora on Wednesday, 9th of July at 20:30.

La Casa Azul will delight the audience at 22:30 in the Teatro de La Axerquía on Wednesday, 9th of July. The Orquesta Joven de Córdoba will offer a concert in the Patio de los Naranjos at 22:00 on the same day. On Thursday, 10th of July, Jesús Guerrero will offer a concert at the Teatro Góngora.
