Thirteen fishermen were rescued after their boat sank in rough seas off the coast of Cà Mau Province. The incident occurred on November 21, prompting a swift search and rescue operation. All crew members were found alive and returned safely to shore.

The fishing vessel, owned by Ngô Văn Nghiệp and captained by Lưu Văn Thắng, sank around 15 nautical miles east-south-east of Rạch Gốc Estuary. The crew had been engaged in offshore bottom-fishing when strong waves and high winds overwhelmed the boat.
