Elderly Dancer Shines with Timeless Torches as New York Liberty Take on Mercury

Koehler, who took a hiatus from dancing after getting married but later auditioned for the group after seeing them perform at a Liberty game, is motivated by the "family feeling" the Timeless Torches provide.
Koehler is not alone in her passion for dance. Phyllis Spencer, a fitness instructor, joined the Timeless Torches after her children auditioned for a kids dance squad. Spencer, who teaches kickboxing, gymnastics, and aerobics at the YMCA, finds dancing to be a "natural high."
