"Theatrical season commences with the performance of "Romeo and Juliet"
The Shakespeare Company Berlin is set to bring a fresh and captivating take on William Shakespeare's classic love tragedy, 'Romeo and Juliet,' to the Concert and Theater Hall in Nordhorn on Tuesday, September 23, 2025.
Directed by Armin Beutel, known for his innovative work with the Shakespeare Company Berlin, this production promises to approach the timeless tale with a modern perspective, avoiding romantic clichés and highlighting breaks and contrasts.
'Romeo and Juliet' is not just a story of star-crossed lovers; it delves deeper, clashing love with hate, questioning guilt and responsibility, the power of hope, and the harshness of reality. The performance will skillfully explore the tension field between love and hate, tenderness and violence, chance and fate.
Music and stage work together perfectly to make emotions visible and audible in this production, creating an immersive experience for the audience.
The Cultural Affairs Office of Nordhorn is opening its new season with this performance, and tickets can be purchased from 23 euros at all stationary Reservix box offices and online at www.reservix.de.
