"Theater hosts an event themed around Italy"
In the heart of eastern Wuppertal, the ecumenical initiative KOMM is set to host an exciting event on August 28, 2025. The event, titled "Italian Night," is one of KOMM's initiatives that aims to promote social balance among different population groups, with a particular focus on migrant integration and democratic awareness among young people.
The event is being hosted by the Soroptimist Club, an organisation of professional women working worldwide for human rights, education for girls and women, equality, and peace. The Soroptimist Club has partnered with "Genussnetzwerk Rund um die Marie" for this special occasion.
The evening promises to be a memorable one, filled with dancing, food, drinks, and Italian music. Renowned mandolin virtuoso Caterina Lichtenberg and empathetic TV moderator Marco Lombardo, known for his guitar skills, will be performing live at the event. DJ Jürgen Kurenbach from Witten's "Musicfactory" will also be providing additional music to keep the crowd entertained.
For those interested in attending, tickets are available at all known advance booking points and online via www.wuppertal-live.de. Each ticket costs 20 euros. The Soroptimist Club will also be offering snacks and drinks at fair prices throughout the event.
KOMM's initiatives extend beyond Wuppertal's borders, making this event a great opportunity for the community to come together and celebrate Italian culture. So, mark your calendars and get ready to experience an unforgettable evening at Herrenplatz on August 28, 2025.
