The final scenes for 'The Witcher' Season 5 were recently shot at Longcross Studios. The new teaser, released ahead of Season 4's October 30, 2025 premiere, gives a sneak peek of Hemsworth's Geralt battling an evil spirit emerging from a tomb. The upcoming season, set to air in fall 2026, was primarily filmed in South Africa and England.

The shift in the series' main star has sparked controversy within the fan community. Despite the negative reactions, Hemsworth's casting was confirmed for Season 5, with filming already complete. The fifth season is expected to be the last in the series.
