Keep your eyes peeled for treacherous icy spots, as temperatures will hover between -3°C and -7°C, increasing the likelihood of icy roads. The sky will stay gray, and temperatures will keep the frost bite at bay, with minus three to minus one degrees.
Now, if you're a winter sports enthusiast heading to the mountainous regions in Hesse over the weekend, heed this word of caution: slippery surfaces are likely due to the less-than-favorable temperatures.
As for our fellow mainland Hesse residents, you might be in for milder weather compared to your mountain-dwelling neighbors. But remember, in the mountainous areas near the Main river, the weather gods can be merciless. They've issued a warning for icy conditions, so be extra careful while navigating these areas, particularly along the Main river.
