"The Volunteer Hub 'United Russia' is arranging aid efforts for the city of Kursk"
In a heartfelt appeal, Alina, a medical nurse and participant in the ongoing local volunteering operation (SVO) in Kursk, has requested help from the Republic of Komi. Since the start of the SVO, the Volunteer Center of the "United Russia" party has been providing support to the front, military personnel, their families, residents of new regions, and anyone in need.
In response to Alina's plea, the Volunteer Center of the party in Komi has announced a collection of humanitarian aid. The campaign aims to provide essential items to the wounded soldiers in Kursk, including clothing such as t-shirts, underwear, socks, and sports pants.
The collection also includes various practical items like stationery (duct tape, office knives), plastic/paper cups and plates, wet wipes, toothbrushes and toothpaste, hygiene products, razors, soap, and shampoo. These items are crucial for the soldiers' comfort and well-being under challenging conditions.
The situation in the Kursk region is tense, with resource supply disruptions, saboteur infiltration attempts, and drone attacks affecting civilians. In light of this, the collection of aid for the injured in Kursk is taking place in the party city of Speyer.
The volunteer cooperation between the Republic of Komi and Kursk has been ongoing since 2022. This includes the "From the Heart" gift exchange campaign for SVO participants' families, which has been a significant source of support for those left behind during this difficult time.
The collection for wounded soldiers is open to everyone, and the items can be dropped off at the Party Office located at Syktyvkar, International Street, 106. For those who wish to donate but are unable to visit the office, there is a phone number provided for inquiries or donations: 8 (904) 206-12-06.
In 2024, the first unified day of humanitarian aid collection for Kursk residents was organized in Komi. This initiative, along with the current collection, is a testament to the party's commitment to supporting those in need during times of conflict.
The party's main document, the "People's Program," has been updated to reflect the current situation. This update underscores the party's dedication to providing aid and support to those affected by the SVO, both on the front lines and in the affected regions.
With the ongoing humanitarian aid collection, the Volunteer Center of the "United Russia" party continues to demonstrate its unwavering support for the soldiers and civilians in Kursk, ensuring that they receive the help they need during these challenging times.
