Splatoon 3's latest Splatfest event has come to an end, and the winners have been crowned. The theme for this spooktacular event was "Who do you think would be the best friend?" and players were asked to choose between Team Ghost, Team Zombie, or Team Skeleton.

In this thrilling three-team Splatfest, Team Ghost emerged victorious, earning more Super Sea Snails for their efforts. These valuable in-game currency can be used to upgrade gear and obtain abilities that match specific needs. Every participant in the event also received Super Sea Snails as a reward for their participation.

During the event, Splatsville underwent a dramatic transformation. The hub's appearance and sound changed to create a festive atmosphere, with neon lights, lanterns, and fireworks lighting up the night sky. Floating stages carried characters such as Shiver, Frye, and Big Man, who danced and sang to entertain the crowd.

To join the Splatfest, players had to wear special Splatfest Tee shirts representing their chosen team. Jel La Fleur, an NPC in Splatsville, reminded players that they could not equip new clothing during the event. Various NPCs such as Jellyfish, Inklings, and Octolings were also seen wearing team gear and participating in the festivities.

Players could compete in different battle types, with Splatfest Battle types replacing the normal ones: Open, Pro, and Tricolor. In "Pro" battles, teams were randomized, while in "Open" battles, players could enter a match with a group of friends.

To obtain Splatoween-themed gear, players had to open News on their Nintendo Switch system and launch the Splatoon 3 game via the Squid Research Lab article. The Splatoween-themed gear was available for the Splatoon 3 game after launching the game and visiting the in-game lobby.
