The Upcoming season 2 of The Walking Dead: Dead City - a breakdown of the trailer, key players, and all the information available regarding the continuation of the popular TWD spinoff
In the post-apocalyptic world of The Walking Dead: Dead City, the tension between Maggie (Lauren Cohan) and Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) continues to be the centre of attention. Cohan recently described their relationship as "the most upside-down marriage".
Season 2 of the series, which premiered on May 4, finds Maggie and Negan on opposite sides of a growing war for control in a post-apocalyptic Manhattan. The latest episodes have been filled with intrigue, as seen in titles such as "Feisty Friendly", "Why Did the Mainlanders Cross the River?", and "The Bird Always Knows".
The next new episode, "Novi Dan, Novi Pocetak", is scheduled for June 15. Fans can catch it on AMC at 9 pm ET/PT, or through various streaming platforms. AMC Plus, the home of The Walking Dead: Dead City, can be accessed as an add-on channel on Prime Video, Apple TV Plus, or Roku. It's also available through live TV streaming services like YouTube TV, Fubo, and Sling TV.
The show's dark, intense, and ironic nature has been highlighted by cast member Gaius Charles. Showrunner Eli Jorné has also teased that fans will get to see Central Park this season.
In an interesting twist, Jeffrey Dean Morgan chose "methane" as his word to describe the season, adding that "it's a gassy kind of year" (in reference to the use of rotting zombies to create methane to fuel the city).
New actors joining the cast this season include Alexandra Masangkay (Paz), Candela Saitta (Justina), Eduardo Noriega (Antonio), Óscar Jaenada (Fede), and Armando Buika (Sergio). Notable additions to the cast include Keir Gilchrist as Benjamin Pierce, Dascha Polanco as Major Lucia Narvaez, Jake Weary as Christos, and Pooya Mohseni as Roksana.
So, grab your popcorn and get ready for more action, drama, and suspense in The Walking Dead: Dead City season 2. Don't miss the next episode on June 15!
