"The U15 team from Buryatia suffers defeat at the hands of Tomsk Sports School No17"
The Youth Football League (YFL, Siberia zone) match between Ulan-Ude's Sports School No.6 U15 and Sports School No.17 (Tomsk) U15, held at the "Zabaykaleц" stadium in the republic's capital, concluded with a 2-4 victory for Ulan-Ude on July 31st.
The early stages of the match saw Ulan-Ude dominating the play, with Zakhar Karpov scoring the opening goal on the 11th minute. Tomsk managed to equalize before halftime, thanks to a goal from Makar Bardakov on the 40th minute.
The second half was marked by intense attacks from both teams. Ulan-Ude regained the lead on the 51st minute, with Soltatov missing an opportunity to score for Tomsk, but Tomsk's goalkeeper Shalev preventing the goal. Makar Bardakov scored his second goal on the 54th minute, making the score 0:3 for Tomsk.
Ulan-Ude made a strong comeback at the start of the second half but couldn't score. The tide turned in Ulan-Ude's favour again on the 69th minute, with Artem Prokopyov scoring a consolation goal for Tomsk. Three minutes later, Iskander Kochorov of Tomsk scored the second goal, but it was too little, too late as Ulan-Ude secured their victory on the 77th minute with another goal from Artem Prokopyov.
Coach of Tomsk's team, Vladislav Sergunin, expressed concerns about their defending and stated that they need to work very hard to improve their game balance and climb higher in the positions. Rinchin Zambalayev, a player from Ulan-Ude, mentioned that a lack of game practice and concentration were issues for his team.
Before the game, Ulan-Ude was in 9th place in the tournament table, while Tomsk was in 8th place. Both teams had faced losses in their previous rounds, with Tomsk losing heavily and Ulan-Ude losing in their last game. In their first match on May 17th, Ulan-Ude and Tomsk played to a nil-nil draw.
The age restriction for the match was 0+, and the next match, the "Buryatia" - SSh No17 U16, is scheduled to start at 14:00.
Sports analysis revealed that Ulan-Ude's dominance in the early stages of the match inclined the game towards them, as shown by Zakhar Karpov's opening goal. Nevertheless, sports-analysis also suggested that Tomsk's ability to equalize before halftime, with Makar Bardakov's goal, displayed their resilience. Despite Ulan-Ude reclaiming the lead in the second half, the match's intensity and Tomsk's repeated attacks highlight the competitiveness of the Youth Football League (YFL, Siberia zone).
