The stretch of the Palatka-Kullu-Nexican road is deemed hazardous
In the Magadan region of Russia, the Hasynsky District recently conducted an inspection of the Palatka-Kulu-Neksikan road section from km 10+000 to km 49+000. However, no new information about the findings from this inspection or any new road violations were reported by the Magadan region's prosecutor's office or the "Magadan Incidents Channel," a group focused on life in Magadan and the Magadan region.
Previously, an administrative case was initiated against an individual entrepreneur for violating traffic safety requirements during road maintenance. The violation was specified as per Article 12.34, Part 1 of the RF Code of Administrative Offenses. The entrepreneur was found guilty and fined 20,000 rubles.
While no new details about this case or the status of the previously rectified violations were given, common violations typically found during road maintenance inspections in remote and northern regions like Magadan often include potholes and pavement damage, poor drainage, inadequate signage, snow and ice removal issues, shoulder deterioration, insufficient markings, and guardrail damage or absence.
It's important to note that no new rectifications of road violations were reported, and no new administrative cases were initiated or fines were imposed on individuals. Similarly, no new information about the maintenance of artificial road structures was reported.
As always, the safety and upkeep of our roads are crucial for the well-being of the community. Let's hope for continued improvements in the maintenance and upkeep of our road infrastructure in the Magadan region.
