"The second season of 'Landman' is set to debut in the fall on Paramount"
On November 16, 2025, the highly-anticipated second season of the hit drama Landman will premiere on Paramount+. Co-created by Taylor Sheridan and Christian Wallace, this gripping series continues to captivate audiences with its intense storyline and stellar cast.
Set in West Texas, Landman follows the life of Tommy Norris, played by Billy Bob Thornton, a petroleum landman and mid-level executive at a Texas oil company. After the sudden death of his boss Monty Miller (Jon Hamm), Tommy finds himself in the unenviable position of company president. Facing a high-stakes exploratory drilling deal that could potentially bankrupt M-Tex Oil if it fails, Tommy must navigate a dangerous landscape of volatile oilfield politics, nasty negotiations, and violent criminals.
The second season continues from an unprecedented oil boom, with Tommy struggling to complete the deal while managing a dangerous relationship with the local drug cartel led by Gallino (Andy Garcia). Gallino proposes a mutually beneficial coexistence between the cartel and M-Tex, complicating Tommy's leadership and safety.
Tommy's personal life is also in turmoil as he deals with trust issues with new M-Tex attorney Rebecca and his complicated relationship with his ex-wife Angela, played by Ali Larter. The season also introduces Tommy's children, played by Jacob Lofland and Michelle Randolph, further complicating his personal struggles.

Landman is a production of Paramount Television Studios, 101 Studios, and Sheridan's Bosque Ranch Productions. The series is available for streaming on Paramount+ and has been renewed for a second season in March. It is the No. 1 original series on Paramount+, with Billy Bob Thornton earning a Golden Globe nomination for his performance in the first season.
