Neuwied, Germany - The city of Neuwied is set to revive the beloved "Golden Schärjer" Carnival Award ceremony after a brief hiatus, with the event scheduled to take place on November 30. The ceremony will be held at the Raiffeisen-Turnhalle in the Raiffeisenring, and tickets are now available for purchase at www.ticket-regional.de for 9.99 euros.
This year's recipient of the esteemed award is Alice Hoffmann, better known as Hilde Becker from the cult series "Family Heinz Becker." Alice Hoffmann, a Mainz-based cabaret artist, has been playing the role of Saarland housewife Vanessa Backes on stage since 1998.
The evening will commence with a champagne reception at 6:11 PM, followed by a captivating programme. Guests can anticipate performances by Alice Hoffmann, the "De Knocheläcker" band, Werner Blasweiler, ventriloquist "Querni," and local carnival greats Michael Bleidt and Fredi Winter. The event will also include a few surprises to keep the audience on the edge of their seats.
