Oasis Drops Glastonbury Speculation, Confirms Tour

.........................

The music world buzzed following Oasis's announcement of their reunion and tour, igniting whispers they might perform at the Glastonbury Festival. However, that dream was dashed on August 28, according to the band's official X channel.

Oasis Ditches Glastonbury and Focuses on Tour

Though rumors swirled, the reality bore no fruit. On their X channel, Oasis clarified: "Contrary to misconceptions, Oasis will not grace the Glastonbury Festival stage in 2025 or any other festivals next year." Instead, their energies are directed towards the Oasis Live '25 World Tour.

Oasis's live extravaganza consists of 14 UK and Irish performances, featuring shows at Manchester's Heaton Park and London's Wembley Stadium. If you're hoping to catch the famed guitarist Bonehead, keep an eye out for more concert announcements.

The Sun Scoops New Concerts

The respected tabloid The Sun reported that additional concerts have been planned by Oasis. The iconic band, led by Liam Gallagher, has previously headlined the Glastonbury Festival twice, in 1995 and 2004. Noel Gallagher has also graced the Glastonbury stage recently, performing with the High Flying Birds.

As for Beady Eye, Liam's former band, Liam himself performed at the festival separately.
