New trailer for Fallout season 2 unveils the casting for Mr. House, a Deathclaw, and sets an official debut date for the popular Prime Video show's comeback

Get ready, fans of the post-apocalyptic world of Fallout, as season 2 of this Prime Video TV Original is set to arrive on December 17, 2025. This highly-anticipated continuation follows our favourite characters as they journey to the beloved locale of New Vegas and the Mojave Wasteland.

In this new season, Lucy (Ella Purnell), The Ghoul (Walton Goggins), and Maximus (Aaron Moten) are on a mission to uncover more about Vault-Tec, Lucy's kidnapped father, and to navigate a looming conflict involving major factions like Caesar's Legion, the New California Republic (NCR), and the Brotherhood of Steel. The Brotherhood now possesses a powerful cold fusion device promising "limitless power," which has significant implications for the war around the Hoover Dam and control of New Vegas.

The season is expected to explore this brutal and war-torn landscape, potentially involving the struggle over the Hoover Dam, with tension between NCR and Caesar's Legion. While the characters' intertwining arcs continue to unfold, the story will delve deeper into the intrigue and danger that New Vegas and the Mojave Wasteland have to offer.

New cast members joining the series include Macaulay Culkin, who is reportedly playing a "crazy genius-type" character, and Kumile Nanjiani, who portrays a Brotherhood of Steel pilot. Returning cast members include Ella Purnell, Aaron Moten, and Walton Goggins, along with Kyle MacLachlan, Moisés Arias, Sarita Choudhury, Michael Emerson, Leslie Uggams, and several others.

The first teaser for Fallout season 2 offers a live-action take on New Vegas, a main location from the Fallout videogame series. The trailer showcases our main characters continuing to traverse the Wasteland, and even includes a thrilling encounter with a Deathclaw. This encounter is one of the first glimpses of the Fallout TV show's live-action take on New Vegas.

Justin Theroux will also join the cast, playing Mister House, the dictatorial ruler of New Vegas, in flashback sequences. The Deathclaw encounter in the first teaser is a hint at the intrigue and danger that awaits our characters in the upcoming season.
