Liverpool Unveils Minimalist 2025/26 Away Kit by Adidas

Liverpool Football Club has unveiled its new away kit for the 2025/26 season, marking the beginning of a 10-year partnership with Adidas. The kit, available at Adidas UK for £120, is a clean, mostly white design with red and black accents, paying tribute to the club's history and incorporating subtle details like a Liver bird shield inspired by Anfield's early 1900s Main Stand architecture.

The away kit, unlike the home effort, focuses on minimalism, rather than doing something over-the-top. The cuffs of the long-sleeved version are thicker than usual, making the kit look particularly lovely. This is a departure from the ecru or green patterns used in previous years.

The Liverbird crest on the chest of the away kit is given its own shield, in a nod to Anfield. The away strip presents the Liverbird logo surrounded by a red shield outline, inspired by the main stand at the original Anfield stadium from 1906. Liverpool has had an away or third kit with a white base for four consecutive years.

Notably, the Liverpool 2025/26 away kit is not similar in design to any recent or upcoming Manchester United shirt. Adidas has avoided a white shirt with blue detail for the 2025/26 away kit, as seen in the 2011/12 third kit.

The design of the away kit has left some fans divided. However, Ben Latty, Chief Commercial Officer at Liverpool FC, stated that the partnership has created a huge sense of anticipation and excitement. Milos Kerkez (no.6), Florian Wirtz (no.7), Hugo Ekitike (no.22) and Jeremie Frimpong (no.30) have new numbers for the 2025/26 season.

The Liverpool 2025/26 away kit has been released and is now available for purchase at Adidas UK. Fans can show their support for the Reds in style with this classic, understated design that proudly represents Liverpool's heritage.

The Liverpool 2025/26 away kit, designed by Adidas, distinguishes itself from the recent Manchester United shirts by not adopting a white shirt with blue detail, as seen in the 2011/12 third kit. European football enthusiasts might appreciate the minimalistic away kit, as it is a departure from the ecru or green patterns used in previous years, showcasing Liverpool's heritage in a classic and understated design.
