Swedish heavy metal band Sabaton has unveiled the tour dates for their upcoming Legendary tour, and announced the release of their 11th studio album titled Legends. The album is set to drop in October via Better Noise Music, and the tour will take place across Europe in November and December.

The tour will visit cities in Germany, Czech Republic, Switzerland, Austria, Poland, France, Netherlands, Belgium, UK, Denmark, Norway, and Sweden. Some of the cities include Cologne, Berlin, Ostrava, Zurich, Munich, Vienna, Krakow, Stuttgart, Frankfurt, Esch sur Alzette, Paris, Lyon, Amsterdam, Antwerp, London, Manchester, Nottingham, Hannover, Copenhagen, Oslo, and Gothenburg.

The Sabaton tour will be supported by an orchestra, and will include performances of tracks from their extensive historical repertoire, as well as highlights from the new album, Legends. The album features 11 tracks, each telling an "iconic legendary story".

The 11 legendary stories told in Sabaton's album Legends are represented by these tracks:

  2. Hordes of Khan
  3. A Tiger Among Dragons
  4. Crossing the Rubicon
  5. I, Emperor
  6. Maid of Steel
  7. Impaler
  8. Lightning at the Gates
  9. The Duelist
  10. The Cycle of Songs
  11. Till Seger

These songs are inspired by iconic historical figures and legendary warriors such as Joan of Arc, Napoleon Bonaparte, Julius Caesar, and Miyamoto Musashi, among others, showcasing powerful tales that have shaped history.

The album delves into stories from the Middle Ages, knights, and other legendary epochs, emphasizing warriors, kings, strategists, and revolutionaries. Sabaton collaborated with historians to ensure historical accuracy.

The Duelist is another track from the album that tells the story of the 17th-century Japanese swordsman Miyamoto Musashi. The Miyamoto Musashi vinyl variant is a companion to The Duelist. The Hannibal Edition vinyl is a variant of Lightning at the Gates, which tells the story of Carthaginian general Hannibal.

The vinyl release of Legends will be available in 11 unique editions, each related to one of the tracks. Pre-orders for Legends are available now. The album is scheduled for release on October 17.
