Title: "The Masked Singer": Winner Revealed as "Ice Princess" Jennifer Weist

During last Saturday's evening spectacle, host Matthews Opdenhövel (53) revealed the season 9 winner of "The Masked Singer": none other than the mesmerizing "Ice Princess." As per an Instagram post from ProSeven, she had managed to capture everyone's hearts, melting them all in her wake. And there she was, standing before us – the enigmatic Jennifer Weist (37), fameously known as the vigorous frontwoman of Jennifer Rostock.

Fans' speculation had it that the German rock sensation could be the hidden identity beneath the icy charm of the Ice Queen. Other possibilities frequently discussed on JoynMe, a public guessing and voting app for weekly candidates, were singers Sarah Connor (43) and Helene Fischer (39). Jennifer Weist's angelic renditions of "Hero" by Mariah Carey (54), "Underneath the Tree" by Kelly Clarkson (41), and "Euphoria" by Loreen (40) left an undeniable impression on the audience.

Luca Hänni (29), the previous season's victor as the Shoebill, graced the stage to present the award and share a lively performance of "With or Without You" by U2.

Unveiling the masks in the final

The stage was set with four masks in the final episode: the Ice Queen, Lulatsch, Mustang, and the Troll. They collectively opened the curtain to Mariah Carey's timeless "All I Want For Christmas Is You." Following the performance, each finalist took the stage for their individual turn.

Eventually, the Troll was unmasked, and it was none other than singer-songwriter Mieze Katz (44), the lead singer of the Berlin band Mia. As the show progressed, the mysterious Lulatsch made an appearance, turning out to be Pasquale Aleardi, a Swiss film actor, who beamed with delight as cameras clicked away. Unfortunately, Hendrik Duryn (56), a well-known Tatort actor, had to bid adieu as Mustang.

Jennifer Weist, ecstatic and triumphant, emerged as the victor

Jennifer Weist found her fame in the German music scene at the close of the 2000s, conquering the charts with her group. Known for hits like "Du willst mir an die Wäsche" and "Kopf oder Zahl," Weist proved herself as a formidable act in the infamous costume competition.
