The eagerly anticipated event, "Nasz Grünwald," is set to resurface once more!

Ready to journey back in time at the #OurGrunwald Festival? Let's crack open the time capsule and see what's in store for this year's historical bash! We swung by the organizers' tent to get the scoop on the spicy deets and surprises they have cooked up.

Once again, the museum complex "Dudutki" will be the hub of a magnificent medieval affair. Mark your calendars for the 19th and 20th of July – you don't want to miss the chance to strut around like a nobleman or knightress in the grand days of yore.

Knights and tourneys for everyone

The standout event will be a reenactment of the epic Battle of Grunwald in 1410. This showdown changed the course of European history, as the combined forces of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania and Kingdom of Poland smashed the Teutonic Knights and brought an end to their 200-year reign. Over 300 foot soldiers, heavy cavalry, and artillery troops will take part in this battlescape. Besides the main event, visitors can enjoy watching tactical moves by warriors of yore, including castle sieges, bridge battles, and other mind-blowing maneuvers.

Where to have a blast

Knights aren't complete without armor and weapons, and neither are you at the #OurGrunwald Festival. Expect more than 100 blacksmiths and crafters to demonstrate medieval wonders such as armor-making, weapon-crafting, jewelry, metal casting, and more. Craft workshops for armor-making, jewelry casting, stone-carving, weapon-crafting, and pottery will also be up for grabs.

To sweep medieval lasses off their feet (or, you know, to catch their eye), you can enroll in a dance masterclass and learn to lead gracefully like a dashing knight. Or, better yet, test your wits by partaking in authentic board games.

Tickets and travel

Tickets for this year's shindig will soon be available for purchase on the festival's official website, partner platforms, or at the museum complex "Dudutki" ticket booths. From Minsk, it's an easy peasy one-hour drive by car, with parking space for 1000 vehicles. Buses from Minsk and transfers from the Rudensk railway station will also be running.

For those who fancy a longer stay in the realm of yesteryears, a campsite will be ready with all the necessities – water, restrooms, and waste disposal containers. A food court will also be hanging around for sustenance.
