The Cure to make historic Estonia debut with Tallinn concert in August
The Cure will perform in Estonia for the first time ever this summer. The legendary British band, led by frontman Robert Smith, has scheduled a single concert in Tallinn on August 9, 2024. This show is part of their tour supporting Songs of a Lost World, their latest and award-winning album.
The band formed in Crawley, West Sussex, in the late 1970s. Their debut album arrived in 1979, but mainstream success came in the mid-1980s with hits like Boys Don't Cry, Never Enough, and Friday I'm in Love. Over the decades, they released multiple versions of their greatest hits, including acoustic and electric collections in the early 2000s.
In 2019, The Cure was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Their 14th studio album, *Songs of a Lost World*, dropped in 2024 after a 16-year gap in new material. The record earned them their first Grammy Awards, winning Best Alternative Music Album and Best Alternative Music Performance. The Tallinn concert will take place at the Unibet Arena. Fans can expect a setlist featuring tracks from the new album alongside their classic anthems.
The August 9 performance marks The Cure's first live appearance in Estonia. Tickets for the show are expected to draw both long-time followers and new listeners. The band's ongoing tour continues to celebrate their latest Grammy-winning release.
