Jumeirah Golf Estate is buzzing with pre-season excitement as the golf community gathered for a tournament organized by The Brain & Performance, a DP World Company. The event, held on the Fire course, saw a thrilling competition in both the Gross Division and the Stableford Points tournament.

In the Gross Division, Mark Schoombie and Tom Stephenson emerged victorious with a score of 79 points, equating to a seven-under-par total. This impressive performance earned them the title of Gross Division winners. Stephenson, the 2025 JGE Men's Club Champion, expressed his delight, stating that playing alongside Schoombie was fantastic and winning with such a strong score made the victory even more special.

Meanwhile, in the Stableford Points tournament, James Emmens and Marco Tagliariol clinched the top spot with a score of 81 points. Their four-point margin over the runners-up, George Harding and Neil Clinton, demonstrated the strong competition throughout the tournament.

Cameron McWhinnie, the Assistant Golf Services Manager at Jumeirah Golf Estate, looked forward to an excellent 2025-26 season following the successful event. He thanked all Members and players for their continued participation in calendar events and expressed his gratitude to The Brain and Performance Centre for their support. The Centre, with an office facility at the Tommy Fleetwood Academy (TFA) at the DP World Golf Performance Centre at Jumeirah Golf Estate, is a partner of Dubai Golf.

It's worth noting that the winners of the Jumeirah Pairs tournament, held in September 2025, have yet to be publicly announced.

The tournament was an aggregate team format with two players per team, making for a lively and competitive atmosphere on the course. As Jumeirah Golf Estate gears up for the new season, the excitement is palpable, and golf enthusiasts are eagerly awaiting the next event. McWhinnie expressed his optimism for a fantastic 2025-26 season, ensuring that Jumeirah Golf Estate will continue to be a hub for golfing excellence.
