"The BossHoss Return to Their Homeland" - BossHoss Embrace Their Origins Celebration

The Berlin-based band, The BossHoss, is set to release their anniversary album 'Back to the Boots' this Friday, marking 20 years since their debut album. The band's unique sound, a fusion of American influences and German craftsmanship, has been captivating fans for several years.

According to band member Alec Völkel, the BossHoss sound is something that's already within them. This is evident in their latest offering, where they've given a rock twist to Willie Nelson's classic 'On the Road Again'. The album also features the standout track 'Lunch' and the humorous 'German Angst', which takes aim at German clichés.

Sascha Vollmer, another band member, describes 'Back to the Boots' as 'Back to the Fans - direct, loud, and unadulterated'. The album is a testament to the band's commitment to their fans, with their upcoming concerts set to feature songs like 'One More Time', 'Win Win', and 'Showdown'.

The album may also see support from US stars, although this information is not explicitly stated. R&B legend Dionne Warwick has lent her golden voice to a new version of her hit 'What the World Needs Now Is Love' on 'Back to the Boots'. Another notable collaboration is with actor Arnold Schwarzenegger, who recorded his famous 'Terminator' line 'I'll be back' for a song on the album.

The idea for the band originated from a bar in Berlin, not from America. Despite the political climate, the band's love for the USA remains unwavering, according to Sascha Vollmer. He believes that America will return to reason after the current political climate.

The BossHoss toured extensively in Germany in autumn 2023, performing at venues such as the Sick-Arena in Freiburg, Oberschwabenhalle in Ravensburg, Stadtwerk.Donau-Arena in Regensburg, and many more. The band has also planned a club tour through Germany from late September, aiming to feel close to their fans again.

The new album 'Back to the Boots' evokes the scent of American country roads, motor oil, and whiskey for much of its length. It's a journey that fans won't want to miss. So, get ready to hop on board and join The BossHoss as they take you 'On the Road Again'.
