One of the major tournaments held on that day was the IOPC Event #13 Big Daddy, which offered an INR 10 lakh guaranteed prize pool. A total of 1,041 entries signed up for the tournament, creating a prize pool of INR 10.41 lakh, surpassing the original guarantee.
The top 87 players were paid a minimum of INR 3,227, but the winner, who chose to remain anonymous under the username 'thanx4allfish', walked away with more than just prize money. In addition to the INR 1,99,351 winnings, thanx4allfish also secured a fully-paid trip worth INR 30,000 to Goa's Big Daddy Casino.
In the final showdown, thanx4allfish, holding A-5, went all-in before the flop against 'Shekhar's' pocket sevens. The board opened Ac 3d 8s Qc Jh, and thanx4allfish hit a pair of Aces immediately, while his opponent couldn't improve on his pair of sevens.
