Thaksin Shinawatra, the former prime minister of Thailand, was visited by his daughters, including Pheu Thai Party leader Paetongtarn Shinawatra, Pintongta Shinawatra Kunakornwong, and their husbands, at Bangkok's Klongprem Central Prison on a recent day. The visit came after Thaksin was sent to jail by the Supreme Court on September 9 for a one-year imprisonment sentence handed down two years ago for three cases.

The visit was brief, with Paetongtarn Shinawatra mentioning that Thaksin's health was slightly ill. Pintongta Shinawatra added that Thaksin's grandchildren sent him moral support through a letter. However, Thaksin's son Panthongtae did not attend the visit.

Despite his health issues, Thaksin's morale was reported to be good. His daily routine in prison includes waking at 6am, sleeping at 9.30pm, eating boiled and parboiled eggs for breakfast, reading, watching television, and walking while swinging his arms. The Department of Corrections limits deposits to 15,000 baht and caps daily spending at 500 baht for Thaksin, with the former prime minister primarily using the money for small meals, according to the Department of Corrections spokeswoman.

Paetongtarn Shinawatra was dismissed from office by the Constitutional Court in August for an ethics violation after only a year in power. The court also rejected Thaksin's claims of illness that allowed him to stay at Police General Hospital since his return to Thailand in August 2023 until his parole in early 2024.

No information about which other family members of billionaire Thaksin Shinawatra did not participate in the visit to him at Bangkok's Klongprem Central Prison is available in the provided search results. Paetongtarn Shinawatra was also dismissed from her position by the Constitutional Court in August.
