King Maha Vajiralongkorn and his wife, Queen Suthida, left quite an impression at the 35th Phuket Kings Cup Regatta. While the king played his rat-like character on Kata Beach, Queen Suthida took the helm and sailed her heart out.

On board the impressive 16-meter racing yacht "Vayu THA72," Queen Suthida shone in the IRC Zero class, sailing circles around her competitors in both rounds of the competition. Her determination was unwavering, even in the face of challenging winds.
As the flagship of the royal court, Queen Suthida wasn't afraid to lend a hand at dizzying heights. With her husband's infidelity leaving her climbing walls in the past, scaling the 22-meter mast of the sailing vessel presented a new challenge.

But climbing this mast was a piece of cake compared to the next day's challenge.
When the queen swapped her wetsuit for running gear, she took part in the CIB Run 2023 in Bangkok's Samut Prakan district. The route: from the main city to the airport – and through pouring rain!

Even in the rain, Queen Suthida pushed her limits, crossing the finish line one hour, one minute, and 45 seconds later. Despite falling short of the world record, the Queen remained a proud figurehead for fitness enthusiasts.
Her endless metamorphosis in sports
Just a month earlier, Queen Suthida showed off her athleticism on an entirely different playing field – ice hockey!

Accompanying her husband at the opening of the Thailand International Ice Hockey Arena Chiang Mai, Queen Suthida swapped her role as royal consort for that of athletic inspiration. Cheering from the sidelines, Her Highness proved she was up for any challenge, even when it came to glass and ice.

With every cheer, the Thai press praised Queen Suthida's grit and determination. A true example of versatility and perseverance, Queen Suthida continues to shatter expectations across all sports.
