Title: Cambodia Gives Thailand 24 Hours to Reopen Borders or Face Consequences

According to the report from Khmer Times, Cambodian Senate President Hun Sen, during a special address ahead of a Senate session, gave Thailand a 24-hour ultimatum to fully reopen all border checkpoints, or face the consequences. If Thailand fails to comply, Cambodia will close its own border crossings and ban the entry of all Thai products.

Hun Sen, alternatively referred to as Prime Minister Hun Manet, initially intended to shut Cambodia's borders with Thailand today. However, following phone discussions with Shinawatra, the deadline was postponed.

"If Thailand does not fully reopen all its border checkpoints with Cambodia from tomorrow onwards, we will impose bans on Thai fruit and vegetables from entering all our border checkpoints," Hun Sen declared.

He also noted that Cambodia would lift its current border restrictions if Thailand resumes normal operating hours from 6am to 10pm, as previously agreed. However, Hun Sen categorically ruled out any negotiations on the issue, stating that it was the Thai military that instigated the restrictions.

"Is it the Thai army who restricted the borders, and when Cambodia did the same, we wanted to negotiate to save our face?" he questioned, "We will not put our reputation on the line for others' mistakes!"

In the heat of the situation, Cambodian hackers launched DDoS attacks on Thai websites, creating further tension. Over 13 foreigners were arrested in Thailand for allegedly running a scam targeting Australians, raising questions about Thailand's security measures. The pharmaceutical industry in Thailand continues to grapple with reliance on imports and increasing costs. In other news, the IMD World Competitiveness Ranking saw Thailand drop five places. But on a positive note, Thailand was approved to host the Formula One Grand Prix from 2028-2033 with an estimated budget of THB 41 billion.
