Die Spitz, the four-piece female punk band from Austin, Texas, is set to embark on a North American tour starting from September 10. The band, known for their high-energy punk/alt-rock sound and dark, obsessive lyrical themes, will be touring as a support act for Viagra Boys.

Inspired by seminal acts such as Nirvana, PJ Harvey, Mudhoney, Pixies, and Black Sabbath, Die Spitz blends elements of punk, grunge, alt-rock, and metal, creating a raw, intense sound. Their debut album, Something To Consume, is scheduled for release on September 12 on Jack White's Third Man Records.

The upcoming tour will mark the band's first North American tour with Viagra Boys, although no specific details about this tour or dates involving both bands have been made public yet. Viagra Boys, known for their post-punk style, could complement Die Spitz's energetic, punk-influenced sound.

Die Spitz consists of Ava Schrobilgen (vocalist/guitarist/drummer), Chloe De St. Aubin (drummer/vocalist/guitarist), Ellie Livingston (vocalist/guitarist), and Kate Halter (bassist). The band has previously released a single titled Throw Yourself to the Sword and their second single, Pop Punk Anthem (Sorry For The Delay), will be released as part of their debut album.

Pop Punk Anthem (Sorry For The Delay) is a story about obsessive insanity due to unreciprocated limerence. The band, despite sometimes being associated with pop punk, explicitly states they are not a pop punk band, even while paying homage to early 2000s pop punk through this track.

Die Spitz was declared "the best new band in the world" by Louder (or this specific writer) after their first-ever UK show at London's Downstairs at the Dome. Fans of punk, alt-rock, and high-energy music are encouraged to check out Die Spitz's upcoming tour dates and catch their intense live performances.
