Texans vs. Patriots: Frigid winds and flurries await Sunday’s showdown

The Houston Texans are set to face the New England Patriots this Sunday in a key matchup at Foxborough. Kicking off at 8:00 PM local time (21:00 in Germany), the game will take place at Gillette Stadium. Meanwhile, back in Texas, shifting weather patterns are bringing colder air and strong winds ahead of the weekend.

Earlier this week, Southeast Texas experienced mild and sunny conditions, with temperatures climbing close to 70°F. But a cold front has since moved through, introducing windier weather. Northwest winds of 15 to 20 mph, with gusts reaching 30 mph, are now expected.

Thursday morning will see a sharp drop, with lows dipping into the upper 30s and low 40s. A brief rebound to near 70°F is forecast for Friday before another front arrives, cooling things down for the weekend. For the Texans’ game in Foxboro, conditions will be far colder. Temperatures are predicted to hover in the mid-30s, with wind chills making it feel like the 20s. There’s also a chance of light flurries during the match.

The Texans will play in chilly, windy conditions on Sunday night. Fans travelling to Gillette Stadium should prepare for cold weather, including possible flurries. Back in Texas, temperatures will remain unsettled as another front moves in over the weekend.
