After his playing days, he transitioned into leadership roles, amassing extensive experience that will undoubtedly serve him well in his new position.

Pollo's headquarters will be based in the ATP's London office, where he will oversee the organisation's global operations. One of his key responsibilities will be to continue implementing the OneVision strategy, a comprehensive plan that focuses on sport development, fan engagement, and creating long-term value for players, tournaments, and partners.

Prior to his appointment, Pollo served as a player representative on the ATP board since 2021. This insider knowledge and understanding of the organisation will undoubtedly prove beneficial as he steps into his new role.

Pollo succeeds Massimo Calvelli, who stepped down from his role in January 2019. Chris Kermode held the position before Calvelli, having served as CEO for several years. With Pollo's appointment taking effect immediately, the tennis world eagerly awaits to see the impact he will have on the sport.

As the ATP enters a new era under Pollo's leadership, fans and stakeholders can look forward to a continued focus on growth, innovation, and the advancement of tennis as a global sport.
