Novak Djokovic, a tennis tour veteran at 38, may well be one of the best around, but the question lingers—how long will he keep playing? He admitted he doesn't have the answer. But for now, the next two Grand Slam tournaments are on his radar.

In his semi-final loss at the French Open against world No.1 Jannik Sinner, Djokovic readily embraced the audience's adoration, with a hint of finality. "This might've been my final match here. If this was my swansong, it was an incredible one, with the vibe and the fans' warmth," Djokovic shared after his 4:6, 5:7, 6:7 (3:7) defeat. The Serb was noticeably emotional at the end, but he emphasized that he hadn't made a decision yet. "I just said it could've been my final match, not that it was. Twelve months in this stage of my career is a long time," he clarified. He admitted uncertainty about his future: "I don't know what tomorrow might bring," said the 38-year-old. But he reiterated his desire to keep playing: "Do I want to carry on? Yes, I do. But will I be back here in 12 months? I honestly don't know."

Former coach Boris Becker remains hopeful that Djokovic will return to the French Open. "I'm hoping Djokovic will come back to the French Open. He needs a good year ahead, but who knows, this might be his final farewell every time," Becker shared on Eurosport. "Djokovic losing today is disappointing, but remember, he's still a force to reckon with."

With his eyes on the future, Djokovic is already focusing on the upcoming Grand Slam tournaments. "I'll stick to my plan and play the major championships. Those events are vital to me," he declared. He sets his sights on Wimbledon and the US Open, with his ambitious goal being another Grand Slam title, which would make him the sole record holder. He currently shares the record with Australian Margaret Court, with 24 titles each.
