Sports Fashion Giant Hugo Boss Steps up to Sponsor Stuttgart's Annual Tennis Tourney till 2030

Tennis Competition in Stuttgart to be Sponsored Up until 2030 - Tennis event in Stuttgart secures sponsorship deal, set to last till 2030.

Toss a racket in the air, folks! The ATP grass-court tennis bonanza in Stuttgart is set to reign for another five years. The tournament is all set to bear the prestigious title of BOSS Open, following Hugo Boss AG, the influential fashion powerhouse, extending their sponsorship deal until 2030.

Edwin Weindorfer, our beloved tournament director, announced the exciting news. The sponsorship agreement started off in 2022, lasting initially until the present tournament. Mercedes-Benz, the tournament's longest-serving title sponsor who owned the event for 42 years, decided to bid adieu.

The contract signing ceremony was a private affair. But, here's what we know: The TC Weissenhof, the charming tennis club hosting the tournament, is also keeping up its commitment by continuing its partnership until 2030.

The upcoming edition of our Stuttgart grass tournament is graced by none other than Alexander Zverev, the world ranking third. He’s excited to grace our courts for the first time since 2019 after his French Open exit quarter-finals. The tournament, worth a whopping 751,630 euros, unfolds from June 9 to June 15 in 2025. Fittingly, the week-long event kicks off with the qualifying matches on June 7, with the main draw commencing on June 9. The finals? Doubles at 11:30 a.m. and singles at 2 p.m., local time, of course!

However, it's an open secret in the tennis world that details about the sponsorship agreement are strictly on the down low. The ATP, along with mainstream news platforms and official tournament sources, have kept mum about the contract length, monetary aspects, or specific obligations of Hugo Boss AG. But, rest assured, they seem pretty smitten by each other! It's a match made in (tennis) heaven, if you ask us!

Hugo Boss AG's extended sponsorship of the Stuttgart tennis tourney until 2030 indicates a strong commitment to the sport, aligning with their community policy of support for sports and cultural events. With the BOSS Open, Hugo Boss is not only sponsoring the tournament but also fostering a connection with tennis, a significant aspect of their employment policy that values diversity and inclusion.
