Television Station "TV Garden" has shut down.

The popular German music variety show, ZDF-Fernsehgarten, is gearing up for an exciting 2025 season. Since its inception in 1986, the show has been a staple of German entertainment, and this year is no exception.

Since early May, 13 episodes of the show have already been broadcast, with many more to come. The show runs from May 4 to September 28, 2025, and is hosted by Andrea Kiewel, who has been at the helm for the past 25 years.

Among the confirmed themes for the upcoming episodes, a "Spain" themed show is scheduled for July 27, 2025, followed by a "Mallorca-Party" towards the end of July. These themed events will feature special guest performances and will focus on the unique regional and cultural concepts associated with Spain and Mallorca.

In addition to these themed episodes, the show continues its tradition of featuring a wide range of musical and entertainment acts, celebrating anniversaries and special events. For instance, the 25th anniversary of "The Lollipops" will be celebrated on the show. However, detailed information about other specific weekly themes throughout 2025 is not explicitly listed.

The ZDF-Fernsehgarten schedule for August includes episodes themed around "Schlagerparty" on the 10th, "Time Travel" on the 31st, and "Discofox" on the 24th. The show titled "Rock in the Garden" is scheduled for September 7, and the season will conclude with an Oktoberfest-themed episode on September 28.

Sadly, there will be cancellations of the show on August 1 and September 14. Instead, the ZDF will broadcast sports finals from Dresden on August 3. Another cancellation on September 14 has been announced, but the reason for these cancellations is not related to the evacuation of the show due to a thunderstorm on the previous Sunday.

Andrea Kiewel, the show's moderator, improvised during the evacuation of the Fernsehgarten site at the ZDF broadcasting center last week, temporarily broadcasting from a small studio and later outdoors, but without the regular audience.

The show will also feature seven more episodes until the end of September, including a "Miami Vibes" episode on August 17 and a "Let the Choirs Sing" episode on September 21.

In Dresden, numerous championship titles in various sports will be awarded, making for an exciting end to the summer. The ZDF-Fernsehgarten promises to deliver another season filled with music, entertainment, and surprises. Stay tuned!

The ZDF-Fernsehgarten, a major source of German entertainment, will continue to offer a variety of shows with the incorporation of themed episodes. For instance, the "Spain"-themed show is scheduled for July 27, 2025, and the "Miami Vibes" episode will air on August 17.
