Kim became a household name in the early 2000s with her no-nonsense approach to cleaning on How Clean is Your House. She was known for her feisty personality and for always speaking her mind.

Her death comes just weeks after she cancelled work commitments due to health concerns. Earlier this month, Kim told her followers on social media that she would no longer be recording personal video greetings for her fans due to a health problem.

In February, Kim underwent surgery on her eye and announced that she would be unable to record videos for an extended period. Her last video was posted on Valentine's Day, where she cheerfully expressed her hope for her fans' wellbeing.

Kim's career took off in 2002, when Channel 4 approached a cleaning company seeking a cleaner with a "funny temperament" and she was recommended. Following a screen test, she was paired with Aggie MacKenzie and filming for the now-iconic show began mere weeks later.

The pair fronted the show for six series up until August 2009. In November of the same year, Kim was announced as one of the contestants for I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here and finished as runner-up to TV chef Gino D'Acampo.

She also appeared on ITV's Loose Women and This Morning regularly, in addition to various other shows and reality TV appearances.

In 2017, Kim entered Big Brother as a housemate for a special Celebrity series and finished in third place. She also made appearances on other spin-off series from the show.
