Televised Offenbacher Fastnacht: Simon Isser joins the "Hessen Laughs to the Barrel Night" committee
In an exciting turn of events, Simon Isser, a renowned Swiss comedian and cabaret artist, has accepted an invitation from Hessischer Rundfunk (hr) to be part of the Elferrat for the TV session "Hessen laughs at Fasnacht."
Isser, who is the session president of the Offenbach Carnival Association (OKV), will join forces with participants from Wiesbaden, Fulda, and Herborn, making him one of the ten members of the Elferrat. The Elferrat, for those unaware, consists of session presidents of Hessian Fasnacht clubs.
The announcement comes ahead of the anniversary edition of "Hessen laughs at Fasnacht," which is set to be broadcast on Thursday, February 20, at 8:15 PM on hr television. For those who miss the live broadcast, the show will be available later in the ARD media library.
The event, filled with a lively atmosphere, featured singing, laughter, and the presence of Offenbach's Mayor Dr. Felix Schwenke, who was seen donning an OFC jersey. The Ledernose Prince Marcus I and Princess Karin IV, along with their entourage, were also present, providing strong support from Offenbach and emphasizing the importance of Fasnacht for the city.
