Teenagers Rescued After Getting Stuck at Shukur Waterfall
Two teenagers found themselves in a difficult situation at Shukur Waterfall, located at an elevation of approximately 2,300 meters. Fortunately, they were rescued by a joint effort from Almaty’s Emergency Services and the BAU Search and Rescue Team. The teenagers, unable to descend the waterfall on their own, were discovered by the rescue team who had been deployed to the scene. The rescuers, without need for medical assistance, safely escorted the teenagers to a secure area, allowing them to return home independently. The successful rescue operation at Shukur Waterfall highlights the importance of emergency services and search and rescue teams in ensuring the safety of those who venture into the great outdoors.
