Teenager Rhea Moore, hailing from Dallas's Trinity, creates headlines in the National Women's Soccer League by scoring her first-ever goal.

Rhea Moore, a 15-year-old soccer prodigy from Sacramento, has made a name for herself in the world of professional soccer after her remarkable debut in the USL Super League.

Born and raised in California's capital city, Moore has always been passionate about the beautiful game. However, her pursuit of a professional career has come at a cost, with sacrifices such as missing school dances and leaving her friend group behind.

Moore's exceptional talent was noticed by Dallas Trinity coach Chris Petrucelli, who was impressed by her individual skills and her family's clear vision for her career path. On July 9, 2023, she joined the Texas-based club.

In the months since, Moore has been adjusting to her new life, grappling with the demands of professional soccer, taking online classes, and touring various colleges. Her hard work and dedication paid off when she was named to the Elite Clubs National League (ECNL) U-15 Playoffs Best XI and the U-16 All American Team.

On July 15, 2024, Moore made her professional debut for Dallas Trinity in a match against Sporting Jacksonville. The young star scored the only goal of the match, making her debut a decisive one. Her goal not only secured a victory for her team but also broke the record for the youngest scorer in the history of women's professional soccer in the United States.

The record Moore broke was set just one week prior by KK Ream, a 16-year-old forward for the Utah Royals in the National Women's Soccer League. Moore's impressive goal-scoring attributes, including her impressive accuracy and quick reflexes, make her a formidable force on the pitch.

Moore's success has not gone unnoticed, as she earned a spot on the ODP National Select Team in 2023 and won an ECNL event, being invited for the ECNL Phoenix Showcase. She also played youth soccer for San Juan Soccer Club and made the NorCal State Roster, winning the prestigious Gothia Cup.

Looking to the future, Moore has committed to join the University of Southern California women's soccer team after graduating high school in 2027. As she continues to make history in the world of soccer, there's no doubt that Moore is a player to watch.
