15-Year-Old Drives Girlfriend to School in Stolen Bus - Teen steals public bus and drives 80 miles with girlfriend onboard

A 15-year-old boy took a public transit bus without permission in Wiesbaden early on Friday. He drove it nearly 80 miles to Karlsruhe before police located the vehicle. Authorities have since charged him with theft and unlicensed driving.

The bus was reported missing around 6 a.m., though police were not alerted until midday. Investigators later found it in Karlsruhe just after noon. The vehicle, fully fuelled the night before, had been used to transport the teen's 14-year-old girlfriend to school.

The boy broke into the bus and started it using a master key. Police remain unsure how he accessed the key or managed to operate the vehicle so smoothly. Despite the long journey, the bus was returned undamaged. No further details about the incident have been released. There are no reports of similar cases in Wiesbaden or Karlsruhe involving the same individual.

The teenager now faces legal consequences for theft and driving without a licence. Authorities continue to examine how the incident unfolded. No additional public statements or reactions have been recorded so far.
