19-Year-Old Flees in Sports Car and Then on Foot from Police - Teen driver's 500-hp chase ends in arrest after fake plates exposed

A 19-year-old driver led police on a high-speed chase in Dachau after officers spotted an unregistered sports car with over 500 horsepower. The pursuit ended when the driver abandoned the vehicle and tried to flee on foot—but was quickly arrested at the scene.

The incident began when police noticed the powerful car, which had no valid registration. Officers attempted to stop the driver, but he accelerated away, recklessly overtaking multiple vehicles during the chase.

Upon stopping, the driver left the car and ran, only to be caught immediately. Investigators later discovered the vehicle had fake licence plates taken from another car. The suspect was already under a multi-month driving ban at the time of the offence.

Authorities are now probing whether the chase was linked to an illegal street race. The driver faces multiple charges, including licence plate fraud, driving while banned, and several traffic violations.

The case remains under investigation, with police examining possible ties to illegal racing. The driver's unregistered car, fake plates, and prior ban will factor into the legal proceedings. No further public statements or updates have been released since the arrest.
