Elphaba has disappeared from the land of Oz, leaving her old friend Glinda to grovel in the magical mayhem. As Glinda declares, "Elphaba Thropp, I know you're out there," she turns around, confronting her former ally cloaked in her dark witchormal. "There's no turning back," Elphaba growls, preparing to take on the Wizard alone.
In addition to Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande, some other well-known faces will grace the screens once more! Jonathan Bailey, who stole our hearts as Fiyero, will return to charm us again. Jeff Goldblum, the Wizard of Oz's most enigmatic character, will continue to mesmerize us with his peculiar charm. And, of course, let's not forget Michelle Yeoh, who will bring her captivating presence to the role of Madame Morrible.

Based on Gregory Maguire's beloved novel "Wicked: The Life and Times of the Wicked Witch of the West," the "Wicked" musical has been winning the hearts of Broadway audiences since 2003. The story and music were the work of Winnie Holzman and Stephen Schwartz, who also reunited to bring the fantastical world of Oz to life on the silver screen. Due to the wealth of material in the source, the story has been split into two films.
The success of the first part speaks for itself, raking in an astounding gross of over $800 million and earning two Academy Awards for Costume and Production Design[2].
