Gil extends hand to Ariel - and no one gets voted out - Tears and trials shake I'm a Celebrity as Gil Ofarim faces past scandals

The latest episode of I'm a Celebrity – Get Me Out of Here! saw drama unfold as contestants faced challenges and emotional moments. Nine campmates narrowly avoided elimination, while tensions lingered around Gil Ofarim's controversial past. The show also featured a heartfelt gesture between Ofarim and fellow contestant Ariel.

During the Bushtucker Trial, Patrick Romer, Simone Ballack, Hardy Krüger Jr., and Hubert Fella struggled to collect enough tools. Their failure meant the nine remaining campmates were spared from elimination this time. However, actor Stephen Dürr, 51, and farmer Patrick Romer, 30, received the fewest audience votes, leaving them at risk in future rounds.

Gil Ofarim became visibly emotional while using the 'jungle phone', expressing how much he missed his family and friends. The episode also revisited his 2021 Star of David scandal, which led to false antisemitic accusations and a 2023 court settlement. Despite withdrawing his claims, public criticism remains strong, with viewers and his brother Tal questioning his participation in the show.

In a rare moment of reconciliation, Ofarim extended an olive branch to Ariel. He openly expressed respect for her and shook her hand, easing some of the tension between them.

The episode highlighted both the physical challenges of the jungle and the lingering controversies surrounding Ofarim. His emotional call and gesture toward Ariel offered a brief respite from ongoing criticism. Meanwhile, the failed trial ensured all nine campmates stayed in the competition—for now.
